Chief Justice Aamer Farooq of the IHC gave Imran Khan the order to participate in the investigation and granted him temporary bail until May 3.
Under Pakistan's Penal Code's sections 138 (abetment of act of insubordination by soldier, sailor, or airman), 500 (defamation), and 505 (statements conducing to public mischief), the Ramna police station filed the FIR against Imran Khan.
Imran Khan supposedly dedicated a "character death" and made various charges against a senior official of the Between Administrations Knowledge (ISI) in his Walk 19 discourse, which was communicated on BOL News.
The FIR likewise referenced the addresses he gave on November 4, November 11, and October 28, and October 29, 2022, in which he supposedly made statements that were improper for officials from the ISI and the army.
It claimed that senior officials' families had been threatened and that Imran Khan had used derogatory language. It also mentioned that he was accused of constantly putting the lives of a senior officer's family in danger and provoking extremists.
Along with members of his legal team and PTI leaders, Imran Khan appeared in the IHC chief justice's courtroom amid tight security.
While the recorder office had mentioned the criticisms on the appeal, including accessibility of a proper elective discussion to look for the cure, the court overruled the managerial protest.
Advocate General for Islamabad Attorney Jahangir Khan Jadon requested the court to disperse the impression from special treatment to Imran Khan, whose appeal was heard the day it had been recorded.
Justice Farooq made the observation that on the same day, he granted bail to at least two petitioners. The court subsequent to conceding in-between time bail to Imran Khan put off the conference till May 3.
